Happy Chinese New Year, girls. Hope you had good fun eating mandarins and whatnot! I am having some good peaceful time here at my place, coz half of the girls went away on holidays ^^

Phil 3:7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ.

Paul's life ambition was probably clearly marked out in his mind as a Pharisee of the strictest sect and he definitely know what he was meant to do in life! Yet after his conversion, he writes that whatever he gained was useless compared to gaining and finding Christ.

My interpretation is that all the seemingly good things that we learn (or are expected) to achieve through our 'indoctrination' in the University of Life isn't really what its all about. //life plan of married by 25, kids by 30 and earning six figure salary by 45 and retire// The excessive time we spend chasing the things of this world (which need not be bad things) is distracting us from the real deal, Christ himself. The "good life" if not lived wisely is not good after all.
