“Shining as stars” - Phillipians 2: 12-18

“13for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. 14Do everything without complaining or arguing, 15so that you may become blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and depraved generation, in which you shine like stars in the universe”.

Indeed how beautiful it would be if we could shine like stars in the universe, if I could shine like stars in the universe! As I was reading this passage today, I was reminded yet again about how far I measured when in comparison to God’s standard. However, I love verse 13 which says it is God who works in us to will and to act according to his good purpose- for I know there will be hope for me!

I would like to encourage every one of you girls reading this to continue persevering, to continue to work out your faith with fear and trembling (verse 12) no matter what season we may be in, in our walk and journey with Him.
